The evaluation criteria of the Seat Prize 2020 include: paying attention to the foundations and patterns in Iranian culture and identity, reasonable cost of construction (economic efficiency of the design), uniqueness of the idea, ergonomics, quality of the form.

According to the announcement of the competition call, after reviewing and confirming the received works, 32 products that met the conditions of participation in the competition were selected and reached the stage of display and final judging. Among the designs, 67 works qualified to participate in this competition.

With the discretion of the executive board and respected advisers of the competition and considering the current situation and considering the health of the public visitors during the period of holding the exhibition and showing the works, this event was held during the World Industrial Design Week.
